In the past, the Keystone Crossroads reporting project, which WPSU is a part of, has looked at the issues facing education in cities. Kevin McCorry is the education reporter and the editor of the project. He recently visited Northwestern Pennsylvania to report on the issues that rural school districts face. He found schools trying to adapt to changes in the state funding model and dealing with students whose families have been affected by the opioid crisis.
