Event Description

Color and Texture in Paper Collage and Clay Diane Maurer Diane begins her dimensional paper collages by marbling, paste painting, and dyeing paper to create the colors and textures that are essential to her artwork. Then she tears, cuts and combines multiple layers of patterned papers with handmade papers to represent surrealistic landscapes and fanciful seascapes. Cheri Yarnell Cheri creates richly textured stoneware and porcelain vessels which reflect her love of plants and animals. Many pieces feature motifs of endangered and threatened animals. This years show includes a new line of pieces designed to enhance the rituals of daily living such as serving trays, wine cups and plates.
