#HereToo Project, PSU Theatre Students Collaborate On Play About Gun Violence

The #HereToo project is back at Penn State, University Park for performances this Thursday and Friday, November 14 & 15, 2019.  Here is a story we did during the project's last visit, back in January 2019:

Penn State’s School of Theatre is the first school in the country to host the #HereToo project. The project was co-founded by Barbara Pitts McAdams of the Tectonic Theatre Project. Tectonic is the group that created The Laramie Project two decades ago, the play about the murder of Matthew Sheppard, which is still widely performed today. Pitts McAdams has been visiting Penn State this week, teaching PSU students how to “devise” a play about gun violence.
