An archive recording of the WPSU Jazz Show. This week, it’s an edition of Jazz@The Palmer recorded in October 2018 and featuring the Ryan Kauffman Quartet.
The show is hosted and produced by WPSU’s Craig Johnson and is made possible in part by support from Fred and Judy Sears, and Friends of the Palmer. The musicians include Ryan Kauffman on saxophone, Kirk Reese on piano, Joe Michaels on bass and Chris Lozier on drums.
The group plays original songs composed by Kauffman and by jazz greats Thelonious Monk, Frank Loesser, Julie Styne, Antonio Carlos Jobim, George & Ira Gershwin, and Arthur Schwartz.
