Seventy years ago this week, Allied forces declared victory in Europe after the surrender of German army. It was V-E Day (Victory in Europe Day) and the soldiers who returned home started gathering for annual reunions just a few years later.

But that tradition is coming to an end. Many of the troops who saved the day are now too sick or unsteady to travel. Blake Farmer from Here & Now contributor WPLN reports on a final reunion held in Nashville where veterans of the 30th Infantry Division traded war stories for the last time.
