Trump's Budget Plan Threatens Federal Food Stamp Program

President Trump’s proposed budget raises defense funding and slashes social services like the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, better known as food stamps. Critics say the program is overused and abused.

Here & Now‘s Robin Young speaks with Diane Whitmore Schanzenbach, director of The Hamilton Project at the Brookings Institution, about how much fraud exists in the program.
