Airlines are facing a number of factors that may result in increased airfare prices, according to Bloomberg News.
Crude oil is now at around $50 a barrel, nearly double what it was earlier this year. And a number of carriers are in contract negotiations with workers and may agree to pay increases. For instance, Delta just agreed on a new contract with pilots that included a 30 percent pay raise.
