Christmas In The City Brings Joy To Thousands Of Children In Need

Twenty-seven years ago, Jake and Sparky Kennedy of Kennedy Brothers Physical Therapy of Boston thought their kids were getting way too many gifts. So, they held a party for 100 homeless children that has grown to become one of the largest Christmas events in the country with almost 5,000 homeless and impoverished children and 3,000 volunteers.

Here & Now‘s Robin Young visits Christmas in the City and takes a look at what it takes to put on such a huge event.
