Revisiting Wes Moore's 'The Work'

How do you find a life’s work that matters? For Wes Moore, the journey was a roundabout one.

He had a difficult childhood in the Bronx and Baltimore, but then served in Afghanistan, and worked as a White House fellow and a Wall Street trader. He’s now a best selling author, social entrepreneur and host of the show “Beyond Belief” on the Oprah Winfrey Network.

In January, Moore published “The Work: My Search for a Life That Matters” which comes out in paperback next week. Today we revisit Here & Now host Jeremy Hobson’s conversation with Moore about the book.
