For Carly Fiorina, Gender-Identity Politics Is Complicated

The 2016 presidential cycle marks a first for women. It's the first time two women are simultaneously vying for the White House as the nominee of each of the two major parties, political analysts say.

One of them, Democrat Hillary Clinton, is campaigning today in New Hampshire. It’s what GOP nominee Carly Fiorina was doing last week. And as Asma Khalid from Here & Now’s contributor WBUR reports, gender-identity politics popped up again and again.
