As a teenager, ceramacist Roberto Lugo saw a crumbling brick wall in his north Philly neighborhood as a canvas for personal expression. Today, the potter, social activist, spoken-word poet and educator with "an aesthetic all his own," is a ceramics professor at Marlboro College in Marlboro, VT. He earned his MFA at Penn State.
