The Folk Show Road Show: David Jacob-Strain and Bob Beach, plus Ken Swartz

Lots of Blues on this episode of the Folk Show Road Show. Oregon song poet David Jacob Strain on slide guitar and Bob Beach on harmonica start off the show. Their music as been said to "merge blues, folk, rock and indie pop into an engaging American brew with pockets of funk and reggae around the edges." We recorded them at a house concert in State College on Aug 15, 2017.

New Orleans bluesman Ken Swartz traveled to Elk Creek Cafe and Aleworks Dec 14, 2017 to perform his blend Peidmont , East Coast Country Blues and his own original songs. The recording from that evening is featuring in the middle, between the 2 sets from David Jacobs-Strain and Bob Beach.
