Energy Department Order Expected To Boost Coal And Nuclear Industries

Energy Secretary Rick Perry is preparing a draft order that would require utilities to buy some electricity supply from coal-fired or nuclear power plants.

Here & Now‘s Lisa Mullins talks with Houston Chronicle columnist Chris Tomlinson (@cltomlinson), who says the move is intended to boost coal jobs but also will likely increase costs for consumers.
