Outdoor Mindfulness: A Mindful Winter Nature Walk with Restorative Breath Work

Winter is a natural invitation to ease up on outer movement and to tune in mindfully to our inner experience. During this busy holiday season, take some time for self reflection and introspection. Beginning with slow, mindful movement outdoors, we will prepare ourselves to embrace the process of stillness. Then, after spending time walking mindfully in the woods, there will be an an indoor opportunity to choose a restorative position to prepare our bodies for 10 minutes of stillness. For the outdoor portion of this practice, plan to dress for the weather. For the indoor portion, some props will be available but you are encouraged to bring your own yoga mat, blankets or pillows.
No experience necessary. Everyone is welcome to attend this event. No registration required.
