Jr. Naturalist Play Days
Learn and observe with Centred Outdoors guides as your child discovers the joy of outdoor free play!

This program is designed for preschool and elementary age children and their caregivers. A learning experience for adults, and a fun day for kids! Outdoor free play offers countless benefits to children. It supports healthy development, encourages problem solving and independence, and connects our youth to the natural world.

Things to remember:

Registration is not required – this event is free and open to everyone!
Bring a drink and/or snack for your child.
Dress for the weather – warm layers, sturdy shoes, hats & gloves are recommended.
This event will be held in Sunset Park and in Hartley Wood adjoining the park, managed by the Arboretum at Penn State. Parking for this event is in the Sunset Park lot on McKee Street.

In the event of severe weather that would impact enjoyment of the event or travel conditions, cancellation may occur. We will make a decision by the morning of the event, and post updates to Centred Outdoors website and social media.
