Haunted Fort Roberdeau returns for its 9th straight year on Saturday, October 18, 2025. Visitors will once again enjoy "carload pricing" of $20 per car and $50 per busload, with all proceeds benefitting the Fort and Mt. Lion Observatory! Younger guests may travel the popular, back by demand, (non-scary) Trick-or-Treat Trail from 5:00-6:30PM, with generous candy donations from the Fort Roberdeau Foundation. After an hour intermission as darkness falls, the legendary Haunted Trail returns from 7:30-9:30PM, with over 100 AAHS volunteers from the Astronomy Club, Fanatics for Language & Culture, and Lioneers haunting every step you take! Concessions are available throughout the evening and join the Starlight Astronomy Club at the Mt. Lion Observatory for an early fall sky watch- if you survive the Haunted Trail, that is.
