PARKING is at the Colyer Lake Parking Lot at 211 Lake Road, Centre Hall, PA.
Colyer Lake is a year-round favorite location among boaters, fishing enthusiasts, hikers, cyclists, and even ice skaters. This 77-acre impoundment of the waters of Sinking Creek is encircled by an easy-to-follow trail through the forest. Renovated trails and bridge crossings reveal beautiful scenes and signs of the biodiversity the lake supports. Colyer Lake is home to year-round residents, so please drive cautiously and explore courteously during your visit.
How to Prepare:
Sturdy shoes and a filled water bottle (32 oz. or more per adult) are necessary for all outings.
Water filling stations are not available at most locations.
Sun and insect protection recommended
such as sunscreen, insect repellent, long sleeves/pants, or hat.
