Bald Eagle State Park: Free Guided Outings

Bald Eagle State Park: Free Guided Outings

Join the park naturalist on a fun, explorative hike. We will be making frequent stops to learn about the plants, animals, and tracks we encounter. Nesting birds of prey and waterfowl co-mingle on the lake, pollinators parole the many fields of flowering plants, and a 200-year-old oak tree awaits the ambitious adventurer. Outings will follow the Butterfly Trail.

Directions: Meet at Pavilion 6. Set GPS for 125 Beach Rd, Howard, PA 16841, USA. Enter main park entrance at Route 150. Follow Main Park Rd. to Skyline Drive. Turn right onto Skyline Drive, head towards the left side parking area. Pavilion 6 is at the end of the left side parking area.

Distance: 1.0 mi.
Difficulty: Easy

All Guided Outings are held rain or shine. Cancellations for severe weather or unhealthy conditions will be announced on our website, Facebook, and Instagram.
