The Alpha Fire Company will host an open house on Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Borough Fire Station at 400 W. Beaver Ave. in State College.

Community members of all ages are invited and encouraged to attend to learn about the services provided by the Alpha Fire Company, Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Bureau of Forestry, Centre Region Code Administration and the Centre Region Fire Protection Program.

This year, attendees can look forward to fire safety demonstrations, bucket rides, giveaways, apparatus and station tours, light refreshments and the opportunity to try out their firefighting skills.

The Alpha Fire Company takes pride in giving back to our community and looks forward to opening its doors on May 10.
