Amazon received 238 proposals from cities and regions that want the online retail giant to choose them as the site of its second headquarters. Amazon plans to invest over $5 billion and create as many as 50,000 jobs, and many of those cities have offered tax cuts and other incentives to lure the company.
But the mayor of San Antonio, Ron Nirenberg, took his city out of the running. Nirenberg (@Ron_Nirenberg) joins Here & Now‘s Jeremy Hobson to explain why.
