Tonight is the first of two Democratic debates this week.  It begins at 8:00 p.m. on CNN.  NPR reporters will liveblog the debate right hear, beginning at 8:00p.m.  Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren will share the debate stage for the first time tonight.  And because candidates were selected for each night by a random drawing, NPR reports, all of tonight's candidates are white.

According to NPR, here are the candidates who will be on stage for tonight's debate, from left to right: "ISpiritualist and author Marianne Williamson; Rep. Tim Ryan, D-Ohio; Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn.; South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg; Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt.; Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass.; former Rep. Beto O'Rourke, D-Texas; former Gov. John Hickenlooper, D-Colo.; former Rep. John Delaney, D-Md.; and Gov. Steve Bullock, D-Mont."
