What is The Rivet?
The Rivet is a makerspace designed for community members who want to take creative or technical classes, learn a new hobby, or use our equipment for their own projects. Several small businesses also work in our space. Many of our classes are taught by community members who want to share their skill.
Outside of youth hours, workshop hours are for adults 18+. Equipment areas include: woodworking, metalworking, woodturning, welding, pottery, laser cutter, large format printer, embroidery machines and textiles area, 3D printers, jewelry making, electronics, bike repair, and more.
The Rivet is part of Discovery Space, a nonprofit lifelong learning organization aimed at sparking creativity and curiosity for all ages.
