Working: A Musical
Working: A Musical
Penn State Altoona will present the musical “Working” Wednesday through Friday, Oct. 29 through 31 at 7:30 p.m. at the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts. Performances are free and open to the public.
“Working” is the extraordinary genre-defining musical from Grammy and Academy Award winner Stephen Schwartz (“Wicked,” “Godspell”). Employing a range of musical styles and genres from contributing composers such as five-time Grammy Award winner James Taylor and Pulitzer Prize winner Lin-Manuel Miranda (“Hamilton,” “In The Heights”), “Working” is about the hopes, dreams, fantasies, and sorrows of American working people from all walks of life.
Penn State Altoona’s performance is directed by Mary Beth Geppert with vocal direction by Bonnie Cutsforth-Huber, choreography by KT Huckabee, technical direction by Max Doherty, production management by Kylea Myers, and stage management by Jenelle Lockard.
Performances are free and open to the public thanks to the Kjell Meling Arts for All Initiative. For further information, call the box office at 814-949-5452.
