Young Scholars of Central PA Charter School (YSCP) is hosting a Virtual Open House on January 26, 2022 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. YSCP is a free public charter school in State College with students in grades kindergarten to eighth grades. All students learn Chinese and Spanish in addition to a rigorous core curriculum. YSCP is the first International Baccalaureate (IB) World School in Centre County and the 5th school in Pennsylvania to implement the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Primary Years Programme (PYP). IB schools aim to graduate citizens that received a well-rounded education and who are not only knowledgeable in core content areas, but also immersed in the concepts that they will encounter in life. Along with our academics, YSCP has a low-cost Extended Day program that runs from 3:50-5:10 every day.
