A vegan potluck lunch and a presentation by Dr. Elizabeth George (Dr. Liz). Dr Liz and Chef Nick Iula have written a book titled Healthy Eating Adventure: The Science, Success Stories, and Recipes for a Plant-Based Lifestyle. Dr Liz will talk about health benefits of a plant-based diet and will answer questions. Her book will be for sale at the event.
The lunch and talk will be at the Arts Altoona Center.
