A vegan potluck and presentation at the State College Friends (Quaker) Meetinghouse, in the social room.

Everyone is welcome, whether you eat a vegan diet or not. If you can, bring a vegan dish to share (no meat, dairy, eggs, or other animal products) -- can be chips and dip or nuts or fruit.... We can use the dishes, utensils, and sink in the Friends' kitchen.

After lunch, Paul Amato (co-founder of the Vegan Network of Central PA) will give a brief PowerPoint presentation titled "Fed Up with the Standard American Diet? Why a Whole Foods Plant-based Diet is Better for You, Animals, and the Planet." The talk will be followed by questions and discussion.
