Streamside and Forest Stewards Information Session
Streamside and Forest Stewards Information Session
Join ClearWater’s Stewardship volunteers and take action to protect and restore local streamside forests and conserved lands. Learn how to identify invasive plants, support early detection efforts, and ways to control infestations to support native ecosystems.
Streamside Stewards are year-round volunteers who help maintain and improve streamside forest buffers throughout central Pennsylvania and receive access to trainings and monthly newsletters. Forest Stewards receive hands-on experience monitoring and managing invasive plants, working alongside conservation professionals on high-value conserved lands.
This meeting is for anyone interested in becoming a volunteer Streamside or Forest Steward. Become a volunteer steward and learn how to tend to growing trees and spot, report, and help prevent invasive species from home and in the field.
