Penn State Symphonic Wind Ensemble | Jubilation
Celebrate the arrival of summer with the Symphonic Wind Ensemble in their final concert of the year titled Jubilation. Opening with Viet Cuong’s energetic and enigmatic Moth, and closing with H. Owen Reed’s La Fiesta Mexicana, the program boasts a beautiful selection of uplifting and joyous works. Joining the ensemble is 2023 Concerto Competiton winner Kathy Clarke. Kathy graduated with her MM in saxophone performance and will be returning to perform Ingolf Dahl’s Concerto for Alto Saxophone and Wind Orchestra. The program will also include several faculty performers. Close out the academic year with the Symphonic Wind Ensemble in the Recital Hall on April 18!
