Peace Cranes THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED
PLEASE NOTE: THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED
Inspired by the story of Sadako Sasaki and her 1,000 origami paper cranes, we invite you in making cranes for peace and hope.
Israel has dropped the equivalent of more than 2 atomic bombs on Gaza over the last 2 months, killing over 15,000 civilians, including more than 7,500 children. That is more civilians killed in 2 months than in 20 years of war in Afghanistan.
Many children have been left injured, WCNSF, traumatized, starving, thirsty, and cold.
We have set the goal to make 6,000 cranes by January 1st in honor of ALL the children affected in Gaza, the West Bank, and Israel.
Cranes will be publicly displayed in our community (location tbd) as a symbol of peace and call for an immediate and permanent CEASEFIRE.
Text or call to drop off cranes OR fold with us!
