Young Scholars of Central PA Charter School (YSCP) is hosting an Open House on Jan. 14, 2025 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. YSCP is a charter school in State College that is funded by taxpayers with students in grades kindergarten to eighth grades. All students learn Chinese and Spanish in addition to a rigorous core curriculum. YSCP is the first International Baccalaureate (IB) World School in Centre County and the 5th school in Pennsylvania to implement the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Primary Years Programme (PYP). IB schools aim to graduate citizens that received a well-rounded education and who are not only knowledgeable in core content areas, but also immersed in the concepts that they will encounter in life. Along with our academics, YSCP has a low-cost Extended Day program that runs from 3:50-5:10 every day.
