This Wednesday, April 17 will be the monthly meeting of the Nittany Mineralogical Society.
Our own Charles Miller will present "A Geologist's Trip to Antarctica," based on travels to Antarctica and nearby islands. It'll be the coolest event of the month! Dr. Miller's talks are always a lot of fun, with photos, amusing stories, and explanations of how the present illuminates the earth's past -- in this case ramifications for the possible future as well. The meeting will be at Boal Hall (Boalsburg Fire Hall) as usual. Social "hour" is from 7-7:45 PM, announcements and door prizes from 7:45-8, and main program at 8. Admission and parking are free. Minors must be supervised by a parent/guardian. Hope you can be there!
