Nittany Mineral Society April Meeting: How to Study an Asteroid
Nittany Mineralogical Society's monthly meeting will be this Wednesday, April 19, and it will be about a study of carbon-rich asteroids! Dr. Allison Baczynski of Penn State will discuss, "How to study an Asteroid: Penn State's role in NASA's OSIRIS Rex Mission." It's mineralogy, Jim -- but not as we know it! Program starts at 7:45 PM at Boal Hall; social meeting precedes at 7:15. The main presentation starts at 8. Everyone is welcome but minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
