Minerals Junior Education Day
The Nittany Mineralogical Society is proud to present Minerals Junior Education Day 2024. Junior Ed Day is our main educational outreach of the year, and is for kids in grades 1-8. Advance registration is required for this special event. Planned stations include gold panning, caves and karst, gemstones, fossil shells, fluorescence (glow in the dark), and more. Parents can register on our website http://nittanymineral.org/ Minors must be accompanied by parent or guardian. Children get samples to take home.
