Days for Girls is hosting a seminar to inform and discuss the topic of menstruation for parents of children ages 8 to 15. This is an event where parents can learn how to talk to their children about menstruation, as well as open new conversations. Days for Girls provides holistic menstrual health education, increases access to free menstrual products, and also provides timely, factual information about puberty and menstruation. This can lead to increased body literacy, a healthy public perception of menstruation and decreased stigma and shame. This event will bring awareness to the Days for Girls mission while educating parents on how to talk about menstruation.
