Landscaping with Water for Wildlife: Build it and they will come
Landscaping with Water for Wildlife: Build it and they will come
Laura Jackson, vice president of the Juniata Valley Audubon Society, will teach us how to create a variety of water features to attract birds, butterflies, and amphibians. Water is a key component in any landscape; even small amounts will bring in a variety of wildlife. Learn how to create a bubbling boulder, rain garden, frog pond, bog garden, butterfly puddle, or even a vernal pool in your yard and what native plants would be appropriate to highlight the water feature. See what animals, ranging from insects to birds to mammals, will benefit.
