The Penn State Extension Relatives As Parents Program (RAPP) is collaborating with Mature Resources Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging to host a special event dedicated to kinship/relative caregivers of children and youth. The purpose of this event is to provide these caregivers with an opportunity to come together for a day of fun, bonding, and support.

Caregivers who are raising children of family members or close friends face unique challenges, and the Kinship Family Fair aims to offer them the support they need while also creating an enjoyable experience for the whole family. The event will feature a range of activities and resources to cater to the caregivers' and children's needs.

Throughout the day, there will be short presentations on various topics related to kinship care, including legal and health issues, stress management, and more. Local organizations will also be present to share information about community resources available to the caregivers and families.

Children will be entertained with fun-filled activities, and each family will receive box lunches for their convenience. Additionally, the children and youth will receive goody bags filled with school and play items.
