Join the Centre County Historical Society in celebrating the restoration of the Boogersburg School on Sunday, June 1, 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. The Boogersburg School is located at 1021 Fox Hill Road, State College.

On land deeded by and established by former Ironmaster Moses Thompson of Centre Furnace, the Boogersburg School provided elementary education for local children from 1877 to 1952. Since 2004 the school has become a favorite museum resource for the many local elementary school children who have visited the school to experience a typical late 19th century school day.
