Essence 2 is a community choir performing music from the African American tradition which has been sharing joy since 1999. Founded and directed by Dr. Tony Leach, we are celebrating our 25th year by hosting three prominent African American composer/conductors including Dr. Diane White Clayton, Mr. Roger Holland and Mr. Stan Spotswood to conduct their own work in a free concert at 1 pm on Saturday, November 23 at St. Paul’s Methodist Church.
