The primary goal of ENVISION: STEM Career Day Supporting Young Women (https://science.psu.edu/outreach/programsandevents/envision) is to help girls and young women in grades 6-12 to see themselves in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). Young males are also welcome. During this day-long experience on a Saturday, ENVISION attendees will hear inspiring speakers who are Penn State students, and participate in three, hands-on workshops in Penn State laboratories or classrooms. Participants will learn from Penn State scientists, technology experts, engineers, and mathematicians about various STEM fields and share informal conversations about what it's like to study or work in STEM. This is a great opportunity for all middle school and high school students to consider promising career choices!
