Disc Golf Clinic: Beginner and Intermediate
Disc Golf Clinic: Beginner and Intermediate
If you are interested in learning the basic moves of the sport or hoping to improve your existing skills, please join us at this disc golf clinic run by the CCDGA, Centre County Disc Golf Association, and supported by CRPR, Centre Region Parks and Recreation. With registration, you will get a CRPR stamped midrange disc at the clinic!
Your instructors for this clinic will be experience members of the CCDGA club who all play in Advanced or Pro level divisions during tournaments. As a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to growing the sport in Centre County, we are excited to introduce the sport to new players and help take the skills of intermediate players to the next level.
For beginning players, we will teach grip, stance, and basic forms for backhand, forehand, and putting. We will also spend time offering critical feedback while playing the course and simply enjoying the sport.
For intermediate players, we will discuss disc selection for elevation or wind variation and examine how form generates power. There will be an emphasis on form critiques in order to fine tune your skills. We will also spend time playing the course and discussing strategy for attacking different kinds of holes.
Please note: this clinic is for anyone 12 years of age or older. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
