When Code Blue debuted in the early 1990s, the band’s high caliber musicianship and unique mix of soul and blues, covers and originals, quickly caught on, attracting a local following that established them as a trailblazing State College band.
Fast forward to the present. Core members of Code Blue have reunited to continue their tradition of delivering blues, soul, and R&B at an exceptional and exciting level of musicianship. Code Blue features the vocals of Terri Parker and Rene Oakman; lead guitar Chris Younken; “hotrod” harmonica Richard Sleigh; keyboard Barbara Neumuller; acoustic guitar Jerry Zolten; and the tick tock rhythm of Harry Werner bass and John Raiser drums.
