Celebration Sunday Music Fest - Huntingdon County Raystaurant Week
Raystaurant Week will culminate in a vibrant finale on March 1 with the "Sunday Celebration Music Fest," a day-long event featuring two stages of live music, local food tastings, and interactive art demonstrations. Held at the Huntingdon County Arts Center from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., the festival offers a "soulful Sunday" experience designed to highlight the region's diverse culinary and creative talents.
The event is free to the public. For those looking to sample local flavors, the Huntingdon County Arts Council will sell sampling tickets at a rate of three for $10. One ticket grants the holder one food or beverage sample from participating eateries, including Juniata Brewing Company, Lake Rays Nutrition, Standing Stone Coffee Company, Tastes Of Home Bakery, Bluegills Bar & Grill, Nanny Mae's Cafe, Meadows of Huntingdon and Sweethearts Confectionery.
"It’s the perfect way to celebrate local flavor, connect with the community and end Raystaurant Week on a high note," organizers said.
Eric Ian Farmer (11 a.m.): Opening the festival on the Main Stage, Farmer blends soul and acoustic rock with stories of social awareness and heritage. A "bass in tenor's clothing," his guitar work is inspired by the percussive style of Bo Diddley.
Urban Fusion (12:30 p.m.): Known as the "Funk Brothers of Central PA," this ensemble brings high-energy jazz, funk, and Latin rhythms to the Jazz Club Stage.
Coltt Winter Lepley (1:30 p.m.): A Bedford-based folksinger and folklorist, Lepley performs Appalachian storytelling on the Main Stage, drawing from his background as a poet and former racecar driver.
Hannah Bingman (3 p.m.): A Snyder County native, Bingman’s folk and roots music on the Jazz Club Stage explores the quiet resilience of rural life and her experiences on the Appalachian Trail.
Shane Guerrette (4 p.m.): Closing the day on the Main Stage, the upstate New York artist delivers a "new-retro" sound rooted in classic soul and roots rock.
In addition to the food and music, local artists will lead "make and take" demonstrations throughout the day, allowing guests to engage directly with the Huntingdon arts community.
