Birding for Beginners
Join Joe Gyekis of the State College Bird Club for an introduction to bird watching. Meet some local backyard, woodland, and riparian bird species, discuss birding gear, and become familiar with resources such as field guides, birding apps, and citizen science projects. Dress for the weather and bring binoculars if you have them, some will be provided. This free event is open to beginner and experienced birders – register today!
