Much like the songwriting and storytelling that happens at the iconic Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, Tennessee, the Philipsburg LaunchPad is proud to present a "Night of Original Songs" with The Extra Miles Band. The Extra Miles are a folk & acoustic trio who are best known in the region for their smooth harmonies and guitar driven style. The concert, that will also be a live album recording, will feature 15 original songs written by the band's founder, Andrea Miles. The lyrics, supported by simple folk, bluegrass, and even blues sounding melodies, cleverly express very relatable stories and emotions, and are sure to catch your attention as a listener and human being. Come ready to share some laughs and be moved. The Philipsburg LaunchPad is located on the 2nd floor at 124 N. 2nd Street. Doors for the event open at 7pm and the show begins at 7:30. Tickets can be purchased for $10 either online or at the door. The tickets include the cover charge and bar tending services. This event is BYOB and food will be available to order.
