Penn State University Park embarked on a $44.6 million project in June 2013 to renovate the HUB-Robeson Center. On March 2, after almost two years of heavy construction, Penn State will open the doors to these improvements for the first time.
The project includes nearly 55,000 square feet of brand new space and 52,000 square feet of renovated space.
Some of the most notable features include a theatre, a completely renovated bookstore, a THON merchandise store and updates to the food court.
Monday’s grand opening will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will include remarks from student leaders, musical performances, discounts and giveaways.
