Austin’s reporting has been recognized with awards from the Association of Capitol Reporters and Editors, Public Radio News Directors Incorporated and the Society of Professional Journalists.

Luke X. Martin was an intern for "Up to Date" in fall 2011. He is a graduate of the University of Kansas and received a master's degree from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. While at Medill, Martin covered local and state politics in Chicago and Illinois, and spent his final quarter reporting on national security from Washington, D.C. His work has appeared on The Daily Caller, UPI.com, Politics Daily and other websites. Born in Manhattan, Kan., and raised in Wichita, Martin's love of public radio started in his teens, with the nerdy habit of listening to KMUW on the way to and from Wichita East High School.

Alex Ramos is an artist, writer and editor who specializes in media journalism and music criticism. They're a recent graduate of California College of the Arts, where they were trained in filmmaking and animation. Outside of their work at NPR, Ramos is editor-in-chief at Sunstroke Magazine, an independent publication that centers Generation Z, culture and activism.

Born and raised in Maryland, Gabrielle Pierre has a deep passion for innovation and storytelling. With a Bachelor of Arts in Business of Creative Enterprises and a specialization in Music History and Culture from Emerson College, Gabrielle works to create fresh and imaginative music-driven experiences across audiences.
