ArtsAltoona and Shaffer Media Enterprises are pleased to announce the world premiere of the film "Appealing" will take place in The Grotto at the ArtsAltoona Center, 2212 Sixth Avenue, Altoona on Saturday, 9/30 at 7:30 PM. Doors will open at 7PM. There is a $5 charge which includes free popcorn.

This film features local actors and was filmed in The Sanctuary at the ArtsAltoona Center, Tom and Joe's Diner, and other local spots. The movie will begin after brief introductory remarks by Steven C Shaffer, Playwright and Director. A panel discussion will follow the screening, including the Director of Photography, two of the actors and Steve Shaffer.

It should be noted that this film is psychological and religious in focus, but definitely not a mainstream Christian film. It does contain adult themes and some strong language, so viewer discretion is advised.
