We've all experienced the struggle of having too many trinkets and not enough storage.

In this single-session class, students will learn how to divide the blank into two parts: the body of the box and the lid. Utilizing various tools such as a roughing gouge, spindle gouge, parting tool, and a Jacob’s chuck, they will shape both the box and the lid to ensure a secure fit. Additionally, students will turn a knob on the lid for easy box access. The session concludes with students sanding their pieces smooth and applying a finish.

Upon completion of this class, students will leave with their very own wooden box, perfect for storing all imaginable tchotchkes.
