UKRAINE AT COLERAIN: A PENNSYLKRAINIAN FESTIVAL

UKRAINE AT COLERAIN: A PENNSYLKRAINIAN FESTIVAL

A day of UKRAINE at the Colerain Center for the Arts, Education and Preservation features cultural activities and entertainment including live music and singing of an aspiring young Ukrainian singer RUSYA, a bandura players duo "STRINGS AND THUNDER", and a Central PA folk-rock opera "RUMBLE AND SCREAM". The festival activities offer traditional Ukrainian crafts of motanka (rag-doll) making, cross-stitch embroidery, ribbons weaving, and Easter-eggs painting. There will be an opportunity to take pictures in a traditional Ukrainian outfit, and to learn some Ukrainian language. Authentic home-made Ukrainian food will be available for a fee. Children's activities will include coloring and children's circle dancing. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs for an afternoon of fun. More details at www.SistersSister.org
