Senator Douglas is running for President on a “morality” platform. When his wife Lois leaves to attend a conference in Chicago, he invites over Veronica, his secretary and lover. When Veronica can’t make it, he has an escort agency send over Fiona.
All seems well until the Senator’s elderly neighbor locks himself out and asks if Douglas if he can spend the night. Then another Congressman drops in, and Fiona thinks he’s the client. Meanwhile, Veronica changes her plans and decides to visit her boss. The madcap bedlam reaches a head when Lois returns home after her flight is cancelled to find her Washington townhouse swarming with libidinous politicians, scantily dressed women, security police, and a muckraking reporter from “The National Intruder!”
Casting requirements for “The Sensuous Senator” are as follows:
Senator Harry Douglas (m, 40s+): A suave politician whose libido has him constantly in trouble.
Lois Douglas (f, 40s+): The Senator's long suffering wife, who is blissfully unaware of her husband's infidelities.
Congressman Jack Maguire (m, 20s – 30s): A first term congressman. He’s young and naive.
Congressman Clyde Salt (m, 50s+): An elderly congressman, a cynic with wit.
Fiona (f, 20s-30s): A high class call girl who specializes in members of Congress.
Miss Morrison (f, 20s+): A very serious investigative reporter for “The National Intruder!” She keeps popping up with her camera to capture the elusive photograph of the Sensuous Senator “caught in the act.”
Veronica: (f, 20s-40s): Harry's secretary and lover. A stunning, voluptuous seductress.
The Policeman (m, 20s+): He takes his job seriously and keeps appearing at the most inappropriate times to do searches and security checks.
